The rough texture of the clay plaster refers to the rugged rock landscape of the Dades Valley in Morocco.
The design of this kitchen was inspired by nature—specifically, the raw landscapes of the Dades Valley in Morocco. The project was named Wild Silence, referring to the interplay between the harshness of the rocky terrain and the calm that nature can offer. Nature also served as the guiding inspiration for the choice of materials. By using clay plaster on the walls, floor, and ceiling, combined with wood, the aim was to make the experience of the space feel like a walk through nature. Upon entering, one is met with a sense of peace and stillness— as if stepping into a place untouched by human presence.
